Seven Free Crochet Patterns - Get Ready for Seven Days of Scarfie!

Seven Days of Scarfie: 7 free crochet patterns, 7 days, 1 skein (or less) each

Alright my friends, I have an exciting announcement for you. The sixth annual Seven Days of Scarfie 2021 is happening! That means 7 more FREE one skein crochet patterns using Lion Brand Scarfie Yarn. You always blow me away with your love and support of my Scarfie patterns, and I hope you enjoy the sixth collection as much as I do! This post contains all the information you will need to access all of the Seven Days of Scarfie pattern collections.

Seven Days of Scarfie 2021: What is it?

Raise your hand if you are a last minute maker? Psst, you over there with the DIY gift list only half completed right now 😉 Seven Days of Scarfie is the perfect event for you! For seven days, I will release a free crochet pattern that uses one skein (or less) of Lion Brand Scarfie yarn that will be perfect for adding to your gifting stash. And even if you are already done (Way to go! High five!) you are going to love these modern yet simple patterns! Maybe it’s time to take a breather and make something for yourself 🙂 Whichever camp you fall into; the fun starts November 11th which means you will have SEVEN projects completed before December!

How do I participate?

Seven Days of Scarfie is kind of a Crochet Along, but it’s also kind of not. There is no pressure to keep up with a pattern each day as they will remain free on my blog indefinitely. You can make one of the patterns, all of the patterns or anything in between.

  • Sign up for my email newsletter so you can get free pattern updates. This is the best way to make sure that you get the pattern link each day. (FYI if you sign up for the newsletter, you will get an email asking you to confirm that you would like to be subscribed. If you don't complete that step - you will not receive future emails and updates)
  • Join my Facebook group. You can chat with others working on the pattern, ask for help or share your finished projects.
  • Share on Instagram by tagging me @leftinknots and using #SDOS2021 - I will be sharing your work throughout the week in my stories, and there may even be a giveaway or two!
  • Bookmark or Pin this page so that you can come back to it. I will be adding links to the patterns on this page as we go so that they are all in one convenient place for you.

Seven Days of Scarfie: Supply List

The supplies for Seven Days of Scarfie 2021 are simple…ready?

  • 5 skeins of Lion Brand Scarfie Yarn (minimum, more if you want each project to be different colors)
    • Here’s my breakdown of colors (you can of course use whatever you’d like! I also have a collection of non-wool Scarfie substitutes here if you are looking for a similar yarn to work with):
      • Day One: Navy/Silver
      • Day Two: Pale Grey/Bluestone
      • Day Three: Ice/Gold
      • Day Four: Cream/Taupe
      • Day Five: Seafoam/Clay
      • Day Six: Navy/Silver
      • Day Seven: Ice/Gold
    • If you choose to use 5 skeins, 2 skeins will be used to make 2 patterns each.
  • 3 different crochet hook sizes: 6.0mm, 5.5mm, and 5.0mm (my most favorite hooks ever are Clover Amour)
  • Optional pom pom maker
  • 1- 1” button

That’s it! Easy peasy!

Where Can I Buy Lion Brand Scarfie Yarn???

One of the reasons I have used Scarfie for this event (aside from the fact that it is GORGEOUS) is that it is easily available in most stores that sell yarn!

If you want to shop the full selection of colors I recommend:

  • Lion Brand Website - if you want the full selection of colors, this is your best bet!
  • Amazon (price varies) - sometimes you can find great deals and others the prices are inflated, but it’s always worth checking to see what you can find! 2 day shipping with Prime would mean that you would get your yarn shipped in time for Seven Days of Scarfie <3
  • Joann - I've had good luck finding some of the new colorways here
  • Michaels - limited selection of colorways
