Easy Crochet Beanie Pattern For Beginners

Everyone needs a good, basic double crochet crochet hat pattern in their repertoire, and today I am sharing mine. When I first decided to become a stay-at-home mom, I started supplementing my income by selling crochet, and hats were my big seller!  I made many cute photo prop hats, which I will share patterns for eventually, but first you need to start with a nice, basic double crochet hat. These are cute as is, but can also be embellished with appliques, ear flaps, flowers, or animal faces!

How to Make a Hat Using Double Crochet

I have since moved on to pattern writing (which I am having SO much fun with), but I will still occasionally sell.  I love the joy it brings to the customers!  Whether you sell or make your projects for your loved ones, this hat pattern is a great reference to have.
