Pattern Notes
Chain stitches at the beginning of rows do not count as a stitch
You can easily adjust the width/length of this pattern. To adjust the width, your starting chain should be a multiple of 2. To adjust length, add or subtract rows (but always end with a SC row)
Matching Patterns
Instructions:
Ch 22
Row 1: starting in second ch from the hook, SC across (21) turn
Row 2: crochet your first star stitch, and continue to star stitch across (10 stars). HDC in last stitch and turn
Row 3: Ch 1, 2 SC in each "eye" of a star stitch plus one sc in the last stitch of the row (21) turn
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you reach your desired length. Use your pom pom maker to make 10 pom poms for "fringe" at the end of your scarf. Classic fringe or tassels would look great too 🙂
And done! Once you get the hang of the star stitch this pattern is a breeze!
