Crochet the Snow Drops Slipper Socks with the star stitch to give these handmade women’s slipper socks stunning texture. This free pattern uses worsted weight yarn and are the latest addition to my Snow Drops crochet pattern collection.

Add These Slipper Socks to the Snow Drops Crochet Pattern Collection
The Snow Drops pattern collection is one of my most loved pattern collections that started way back in my first year of designing with the Snow Drops Mod Scarf. Since then, I have released more patterns to add to the collection including: Snow Drops Slouchy Hat, Snow Drops Mittens, Snow Drops Chunky Cowl, Snow Drops Messy Bun Hat, Snow Drops Ear Warmer and the Snow Drops Blanket. Today, we are adding some slipper socks! So for those of you who are star stitch lovers - this collection is for you.

Crochet Patterns Using the Star Stitch
What is the Star Stitch? The Star Stitch is a very unique crochet stitch that adds a lot of texture and visual interest. It looks complicated, but it is really quite simple. I even have a video tutorial for those of you who prefer videos for learning a new crochet stitch.

Make these Slipper Socks with Yarn from Your Stash
One thing I love about slipper socks (and other smaller crochet projects) is that I almost always have enough yarn lying around to make them! This pattern uses less than one cake of Caron Cakes yarn - in fact you will have enough leftover to make a matching ear warmer or pair of mittens if you want to! Not a fan of Caron Cakes? No worries! Any worsted weight/Category 4 yarn will work for this pattern.

Pattern Notes
- The chain stitches at the beginning of each round do not count as a stitch.
- The last stitch of each round is attached to the first stitch of the round with a slip stitch.
- This pattern is written to fit an average adult woman.
- I used a fairly tight tension for this project, please check your gauge so the slippers fit properly.
- Length can be adjusted by adding/subtracting rounds before the heel as needed.
