Where I live, the cooler weather has been slowly coming and going...fluctuating by the day! This is the time of year that it is really nice to have an extra layer of warmth near by just in case. The crochet Open Air Market Wrap is the perfect pattern for just that occasion.

I've been loving my Open-Air Market stitch pattern because it is cozy without being too warm and bulky for this time of year! And the jewel-tones of this Lion Brand Landscapes yarn in 'Apple Orchard' are to die for! This is a beautiful, soft and shiny yarn with SUCH rich colors. In the summer time, I am a sucker for bright colors, but in September I am drawn to richer colors that remind me of fall and Christmas.

This is a simple repeat pattern that can be adjusted in length. Four skein of yarn makes a nice, long wrap. If you want something a little smaller, just leave off rows or decrease the width to make a scarf (Although maybe this could be considered one of those new, trendy super scarves?!)
