Use super bulky blanket yarn to make these fast, bright and cheerful fruit shaped sponges. Perfect for cleaning or bath time - you will find plenty of uses for these reusable scrubbies. Keep reading for the free crochet pattern.

Crochet Fruit with Bernat Blanket Brights
As you can see, I am STILL playing with my Bernat Blanket Brights. They are just too much fun! I should also mention that all of the patterns I have released lately (Crochet Water Balloons, Stuff and Spill Fish Bowl, and this one) have all been made from the same SMALL skeins (5.3 oz each). So you can get a lot out of this yarn!

Crochet Fruit as Toys
I am putting these Fruit Scrubby Sponges in with my Quick and Thick cleaning patterns, but really they can be used as wash clothes/bath scrubbies too! I'm sure my daughter would love to have these in her bath tonight, but I'm not giving them up quite yet 🙂
