Crochet the Asymmetrical Frosted Petals Scarf
When I asked on social media about your favorite color of Scarfie yarn - this Coral/Cream colorway won HANDS DOWN. It's gorgeous, bold and soft all at the same time and I hope it did it justice with the Frosted Petals Asymmetrical Scarf. I love the look of this scarf when it’s worn, and it can be styled in several different ways! Secure it with an invisible stitch, button or a shawl pin depending on your mood and this will be one of your favorite cool weather essentials.

Yarn Substitutes for Scarfie Yarn
Ever since I started Seven Days of Scarfie, I’ve been asked a lot about yarn that can be substituted when Scarfie isn’t available or wool is an issue. The good news is that you can substitute almost any worsted weight yarn or light Category 5 yarn for this pattern! Since scarves aren’t particularly fitted you don’t even need to worry about gauge. Just add or subtract length as desired if your yarn is a different weight category. If you are looking for yarn similar to Lion Brand Scarfie yarn, check out my list of recommended substitutes here.

Gauge:
11 sts x 9 rows = 4” in HDC
Finished Size:
Length: 43”
Width: 22”
Pattern Notes:
- The chain stitches at the beginning of each row do not count as a stitch (unless otherwise indicated)
- I recommend using a stitch marker as you work to help with your row count. I used one stitch marker and moved it along the length of my piece as I worked, marking the rows that had no increases(i.e. every third row)
